Hatches continues March 15 with Matt Grobert

After another wild March week, it is time to settle back and enjoy the second Hatches presentation. This week our host is none other than Matt Grobert. The weather and the bugs are essential signals that an angler must understand to maximize time on New Jersey's bountiful local waters. Matt will guide us through the primary caddisfly and mayfly hatches.

Bring a notepad and questions about what to look for in anticipation of an early season hatch. Keep your fly box handy to ensure you have the flies that will match and so you'll know what materials you need to pick up before the first wave arrives. The aquatic life has been waiting for this moment and now you'll know how to swing or drift your offering as a enticing presentation of its living counterpart.

Matt Grobert presents:

"Primary NJ Hatches and Their Imitations" Primary caddisfly and mayfly hatches, when they occur, what flies to imitate them, and how they should be fished.

This is technical content presented in an easy to digest (for the fish!) manner. Matt is experienced, a prolific fishing author and wonderful resource to our programs.
